A year ago I began growing these babies. My little Christmas trees. One sprouted a few weeks after being planted, one appeared a month later. The final one didn’t show up until March, I discovered the little sprout in the soil as I was repotting the first two seedlings.

Interestingly, despite their varying germination time, they quickly matched each other in height. They each have their own pot now, and are growing very slowly and surely. They’re nearing their first Christmas measuring in at around 5 inches. Not quite large enough for lights and baubles yet.
